ʻOhana Waʻa, in partnership with ʻImiloa Astronomy Center and Lonoa Honua is hosting the ʻIkuwā Festival on Oct. 15-16. This free, 2-day festival celebrates the month of ʻIkuwā and the connections between people, communities, and the natural resources and landscapes that we call home.

Join us in celebrating the season, get ready to re-engage with our community and enhance your own "island consciousness". Festivities include live demonstrations, canoes, vendors, oli, storytelling, crafts, live entertainment, games and more!

‘Ikuwā is coming back to ʻImiloa! Join us from 10am - 3pm, Sunday,  October 20, for this FREE festival celebrating the ʻIkuwā season and our connections to land, sea and sky. Bring the whole ʻohana for:

  • Makahiki Games

  • Keiki Oli Competition

  • Live Planetarium Programs Exploring Our Connections to Land, Sea & Sky

  • Hula & Mele

  • ʻImiloa Interactive Exhibits

  • Crafts and Activities

  • Waʻa, and more!
