Join us for a Food Preservation Workshop sponsored by Nā Kālai Waʻa and ʻOhana Waʻa Kapapahuliau Program.
Come learn some easy, practical ways to preserve food including pickling and brining, learn how to safely use a pressure canner, and tips for preparing shelf-stable foods for our 'ohana and set aside for emergency readiness. We'll also spend time together doing a family food-mapping activity—talking story about learning and planning build stronger food security and sustainability for our families and community.
